Bronze or brass door furniture, handles, kick plates, push plates and handrails can all be restored on site or removed to our studio. We can either return them to a high polish or a traditional dark coinage shade depending on their original finish. Our express fitting service can do this for you on site to minimise inconvenience, or if the building is under refurbishment, we can take these away to our workshop for treatment.
Handles can be finished in traditional wax or lacquer for increased longevity. We can also refurbish signage and infill lettering if necessary. We offer a fast and first class service.
In many historic buildings, original features such as ornamental handles and other unique architectural fittings are widespread. Problems can arise when buildings are being extended and the features of the building are to be continued. In most cases, those features have long since ceased to be made. We can take a mould of any existing feature and sand cast or ceramic shell cast greater numbers for the client.
